Incoming Students

The University of Sassari offers international students the opportunity to spend time abroad at the university (for study or traineeship), accessing dedicated university services and receiving support through specific guides and contacts. In addition, students can take advantage of numerous services organised by UniSS and its partners (accommodation, canteen, language courses, healthcare, sports, bureaucracy, welcome tutors, etc.) thanks to a detailed guide section dedicated to the incoming experience.

• Erasmus+ for study (SMS) 

The University of Sassari welcomes students from European partner universities for study periods (from 2 to 12 months) as part of the Erasmus+ programme. Students attend courses, take exams and obtain ECTS credits recognised by their home university. Each programme is defined through a Learning Agreement approved by both institutions.

• Erasmus+ for traineeship (SMT)

International students can undertake a traineeship (from 2 to 12 months) at the University of Sassari. The project is agreed upon through a Learning Agreement for Traineeship and is academically recognised. UniSS offers support in finding an internship, tutoring and access to university services.

• Ulisse (extra-UE) 

Through the Ulisse programme, the University of Sassari welcomes students from non-European countries for periods of study,traineeships or thesis work (minimum 30 days, maximum 6 months). Mobility requires a Learning or Training Agreement, a language test and compliance with the deadlines set out in the call for applications. Selected students can take advantage of reception, orientation and university life services.
