Chemical Sciences: Enrolment for Academic Year 2025/2026 22 July 2025 Admission RequirementsTo be admitted to the Master's Degree Program in Chemical Sciences, applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (class 21 or L-27) or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable. Admission is also open to candidates with different degrees, provided their academic background includes at least 80 ECTS credits in the following subject areas (SSD): FIS/01-08, MAT/01-08, INF/01, BIO/10-12, ING-IND/21-22, and CHIM/01-12, with a minimum of 40 ECTS credits in CHIM/01-12.A B1 level (or higher) in English is required, certified either by an official language certificate, by passing a university-level language exam of equivalent level, or by an internal interview.Applicants who have already obtained their degree must upload a certificate or self-certification stating they meet the admission requirements (including a list of exams taken) when submitting the pre-enrolment application on the portal: https://uniss.esse3.cineca.it/Home.do.Applicants who have not yet completed their degree must upload a self-certification of current enrolment and a transcript of exams passed.An admissions committee appointed by the Degree Program Council will verify the eligibility of applicants whose applications are received by September 18, 2025.Pre-enrolment and EnrolmentAll applicants must submit their pre-enrolment application from July 20 to September 18, 2025, following the procedures available online at: https://uniss.esse3.cineca.it/Home.do (under the “Segreteria – Concorsi di ammissione” section).Applicants who do not hold a degree in Chemistry (class 21 or L-27) or another officially recognized equivalent qualification must undergo a mandatory interview to assess their academic preparation. This interview is also required for conditionally admitted applicants who expect to graduate by December 31, 2025.The interview will take place at the Department of Chemical, Physical, Mathematical and Natural Sciences (Teaching Building, Via Vienna 2) on September 25, 2025, at 9:30 AM.Applicants holding (or expected to obtain by December 31, 2025) a degree in Chemistry (class L-27 or equivalent), and who already meet the English language requirements, are exempt from the interview.Conditionally admitted candidates will lose their right to enrol if they do not complete their degree by December 31, 2025, and finalize their enrolment by January 14, 2026.
